Despite all the cold, wind and rain I have still been getting out to plein air paint on our Group Mondays (even if there was a pretty small group). Hopefully it will be warm and sunny soon on a Monday, but I’m not letting that stop me from exploring some new spots and capturing even gray days in oil paint. Here are two more paintings I have completed — Business District in Marblehead, Ohio, and Union Chapel in Catawba Island.

I’m also busily working on finishing a really big commission piece that I’ll be able to reveal on here soon as well as a piece for an upcoming show at Carrington Arts. Stay tuned for more information on that show very soon.

Oh, yes, I also run this little gem of an upscale men’s store in downtown Sandusky when I’m not in the loft above it or outdoors painting. Stop in and see me sometime!
