Spring has finally sprung here in Northern Ohio, after a long winter. I made it out painting for the first time yesterday and it felt great to be out in the fresh air with the oil paints again! A couple of us went and painted at Vermilion Valley Vineyards in Wakeman, Ohio. It’s a beautiful scene of vineyards, water, the rustic barn building and I’m sure we’ll go back again when the grapevines are lush and and the grass is green, but it was a great spot for early spring, too. It’s just the beginning of another great plein air season!
